Where to start? Oh my...
My first clue should have been the taped bag that the rack was in, I had to cut it up the side to get the rack out, the box itself had a sticker I had to cut though, so while the taped bag was odd I ignored it. The "jars" are all plastic, with the price of this rack I don't feel I was out of line in my thinking they would be glass.
As soon as I pulled the first jar off the rack I knew it was a pretty cheap quality product, but it wasn't until I started looking closer that I noticed how cheap. The main problem is the 1/4 teaspoon dispenser on the bottom.
After a full inspection I found:
1 jar with an almost completely stripped screw and scratched bottom that doesn't open (yes, I was sold a used product)
8 jars that opened, some harder than others, but they all had definitely been loosened with a screwdriver (and 1 had a hair in it, maybe it belonged to the last owner?)
1 jar that opened but the screw was badly stripped
2 jars that didn't open but had no marks on the screw (must have been where the other person gave up)
4 jars that actually worked and didn't have signs of screwdriver damage
I don't know about you but I think with a 75% failure rate and no other reviews here or elsewhere that I could find, this product isn't worth taking the chance on.
